Lately we have been very busy. Skye is growing up, I am moving up quickly at work, and Brandon recently got a job at In N Out with me. We are waiting for Brandon to become full-time so that he can leave Denny's completely. Here is Skye. She wants to do and get into everything.We had Molly and the kids out here in June. They have grown up soo fast. They don't even look like those little kids I use to watch.Brandon and Philip took a couple of them out on the quad. They had a lot of fun.

When they got home they were beat. Faces red and mouths dry.

While they were out riding, we playedat home with the others. Here is ethan wearing my shoes. I think they look pretty good on him.

The visit was short, but very enjoyable. We were able to celebrate Clay's birthday and then it was time to part. I just love those kids.

It seems as though there is never enough time to update our blog. We keep ourselves busy with work and the baby, although she really isn't baby any more.She is getting soo big. She has such an upbeat personality. Always on the go and very independent. Skye can do anything and does not need anybody's help. Her strong will and high energy keeps us moving.

April, 9th was our 3 year anniversary. We decided to spend it in Las Vegas. So we left Skye with Grandpa and left for the weekend. We had a great deal of fun walking up and down the strip, eating in different restaurants, watching shows,and enjoying the night life from the sky.



We walked everywhere and by the end of our trip our legs felt so sore. We had to have walked over five miles everyday. We got so lost walking in and out of casinos the first night that I think now we could draw you a map of where everything and what is inside of each hotel.

When it was time to go home we were ready. We brought home a new caracature, and a cute outfit for Skye.

I also came home with a $3.23 chapstick.

Some more family

Last week Molly, Will and the kids came out from New Mexico to hang for the weekend. We got to hang out with Ciera before she went home to her dads. It was fun except that I had to work every day that she was here. But the family got together and they all went to Peter Piper Pizza. They played all sorts of games and won all sorts of prizes.

Here Skye is looking cute as can be. She really liked the glasses. Sunday we all said goodbye to Ciara and

on Monday Molly, Will, and Clay left for home.

Marilyn and Ray

A few weeks ago Ray and Marilyn came into town. They use to watch Brandon and his brother when they were kids. They came to see their newest great granchild, who is absolutely adorable, and of course, to see Brandon, his brother and their families. They are two of the sweetest people that I have ever met.

We were able to spend Monday and Tuesday hanging out with them.

Skye woke up Thursday morning with discharge in her left eye. It was pasted shut. I cleaned it up and noticed that it was swollen and pink. My first thought was that she had pink eye. After calling my whole family for their thoughts and coming to the conclusion that she did have pink eye I called Brandon at work. With no questions asked he told me to take her to the doctors. I took her in and my doctor agreed that she had pink eye. He prescribed her some eye drops and we went on our way.

The top picture was her the first day. The bottom picture is her the second day. You can't see it, but her eye was extremely swollen. She could hardly keep it open. She was soo pitiful. And even with a funky eye she is still the cutest thing I have ever seen.

This Last Week

This last week Brandon and I had the same two days off together so we decided to go down to Mexico for Valentine's Day. It was real nice being together as a family.

We ate at a restraunt that has a perfect view of the condos. It is soo pretty.

Birds were flying around and landing on the sill. You could just reach out and touch them.

We walked up and down the streets and shopped. By the end of the day we were exhausted. Skye past out as soon as we got into the car.

A family Gathering

At the end of January my brother and sister came out to visit. Donny brought his wife and Molly brought 2 of her kids. It was fun having them all out. Everyone came out to the house and we stayed up talking all night. Unfortunately, I did not remember to take pictures until the last night and by that time Molly had left and Marybeth wasn't there.
